1. Out of bounds : defined by white stakes or fences (on hole 5, 6, 9, 11, 15, 18) .

2. Lateral water hazards : defined by red stakes (hole 9).

3. Ground under repair : defined by blue stakes or lines, play prohibited.

4 Obstructions :

4.1.
All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions. In addition, if such a sprinkler head on or within two club-lenghts of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief without penalty as follows : If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club-lenghts of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lies which is :
  • not nearer to the hole,
  • avoids such intervention
  • is not in a hazard or on the putting green.
 

4.2.
Wire netting around plantations are immovable.

4.3.
Trees: indentified by a stake. If such a tree interferes with the player's stance or area of this intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in R.24.2b(i).

4.4.
The part of the road leading up to the winter tee of the first hole and continuing until the 9th green of the new course is an immovable obstruction. All other roads and paths are integral part of the course.

Penalty for breach of local rule :

* Stroke play : two penalty strokes
* Match play : loss of hole
